I went for a cataract surgery for both eyes. Doctor Naveen Narendranath is an excellent Doctor. His diagnosis was perfect. The tests were quick too. I actually went to Aravindh Eye Hospital but it took me 6 hours. But I tried RK. I was very much impressed by the Doctor and the staff there. He did both the surgeries – left first and right after a gap of one day. They made it look so simple. Now I am enjoying a clear vision after several years. And the follow up is also too good and prompt. Would strongly recommend anyone who has an issue with their eye to go to RK Eye Center.

I visited this eye centre for my kids and am very much impressed with the experience.One of the cleanest hospitals in Chennai with well trained & organised staffs. I consulted Dr Naveen. He precisely addressed the problems and suggested the right advice. The overall experience was hassle free and great as it’s a real challenge to visit the doctor with a baby and a toddler. Assistance is provided for nursing and other child care services. Another striking feature is they stick to the appoint timings. Very less waiting time comparatively. The whole hospital is very clean and tidy including the washrooms. A must visit for all your eye issues. Kudos to the entire team.

On the month of July 2022, these Google reviews took us to R.K eye centre to meet Dr.Rajini kantha and Dr.Naveen for my father cateract surgery. I am very glad to chose a right place which we had no regrets. The treatment and service by both doctors was very good and friendly. The follow up consultations and the care they take is appreciable. The staffs especially Revathy and spectacles assistant took time and patience to explain all the medicine timing and routine even after asking to repeat again for confirmation. This place will be my top choice for further consultation.

A parent of a preemie would know how crucial ROP screening is for the baby. During our first ROP screening, we were so tensed and ROP wasnt there. In further follow-ups it started to develop and it was in Zone 2-3 and Stage 2. By this time we were past the gestational age of 4 weeks, which means the retina must have matured by now. But Dr Naveen asked us to wait patiently as there is still a high chance that it might settle down by itself. We even went to a famous eye hospital in chennai for another opinion. Their doctor advised that we need to immediately perform laser surgery in the next two days.
But our trust in Dr Naveen made us wait as he suggested. In the end, after two to three follow-ups ROP cleared and retina matured properly as expected.
I can’t express the emotions we had on that day. This was made possible only by Dr Naveen. He gave sufficient time considering all the factors and patiently checked if it gets settled. Thankfully it did and we’re grateful to him for that.

We’ve been consulting with Dr.Naveen for all of our opthomological requirements. We were taking treatment elsewhere for a severe eye condition, which needed is to take frequent injections to the eye. It was painful, cumbersome and outright costly. Dr.Naveen diagnosed the issue correctly and found the treatment to be incorrect. I got my lasik done yesterday here in this sacred place , today I am writing this review. Now you can imagine how it can be possible that I can see my mobile today. That is the magic Dr Naveen prescribed me .It feels so liberating all of a sudden . Dr Navin was the best I would say , he gave me this freedom in just one day . I was so sceptical about the prolonged procedure of sitting through closed doors for 10 days for so many years and did not mind wearing my glasses for almost 25 years of my life . But today I am free of my power glasses and can wear my shades any time.
Dr Naveen also treated my Father for glaucoma issue, my father had almost lost his hope until we came here . With the treatment Dr suggested , my fathers vision improved .
For any eye related issues , I highly recommend this hospital and Dr Naveen.

▪︎ I know Dr.Rajini Kantha and Dr.Naveen since my childhood, they cured various problems occured on my eye (Two times I almost lost my vision, once due to a metal foreign particle & other time I accidentally poked my eye on a tree branch but thank god THEY SAVED MY VISION TWICE! )

I had visited RK Eye Entre yesterday for an eye check up for my baby. The staff were very cordial and they took good care of the baby while performing the eye test.

firstly i would like to thank all the reviewers and of course Dr naveen.. when i was about to do Lasik i visited Sankara nethralaya eye hospital.. i went there 3 times, not even processed the 1st step.. unnecessarily they are postponing the process… then i checked the reviews for Sankara hospital… there are so many negative reviews… from that *reviews* i got to know about RK eye center… then i searched about RK center and it’s reviews…. initially i was shocked to see that all of the reviews are so positive and got strength to do Lasik… one fine day i just went to hospital for my check up and everything went so soon… my Lasik surgery was done in just 1 week and now I’m without my specs.. everything happened so soon here.. i was so nervous at the time of surgery.. Dr naveen explained everything so politely and made me comfortable during the process… i have never seen such a positive atmosphere hospital like this… i would highly recommend Dr naveen and his hospital RK eye hospital to the one who is seeking the best eye hospital in chennai and all over tamilnadu

I recently gone through a LASIK SURGERY in R.K. eye centre. Firstly my parents were worried about the process. But our doctor made them clear that, its very easy and safe process, which made me even more confident about the procedure. Tests and scans were done before the surgery. Doctor’s words were satisfying before and during the process. The procedure was very simple, didnt last more than 5 minutes. And the discomfort was less than a day after the LASIK. Now my vision is corrected and I feel happy about that and thats possible only because of our Doctor Narendranath. The cost also was affordable and reasonable.
